Alexander Ishchenko, head of Vertigo Sports company, became a laureate of the Best Creative Projects of Rostov Oblast competition
The main award of the Best Creative Projects of Don 2025 'Don Creative' competition in the 'Architecture and Urbanism' category was presented to Alexander Ishchenko by Astanda Gabliya - head of projects at the Center for Creative Economy.
As part of the final of the Best Creative Projects of Don 2025 'Don Creative' competition, a presentation of the best creative projects of Rostov Oblast took place, where Alexander Ishchenko was invited to present our production of artificial waves Vertigo Sports and the 'Sea is Waving' project - the first artificial wave for ocean-type surfing in Russia.
The Best Creative Projects of Don 2025 'Don Creative' competition was held for the first time as part of the III Southern Festival of Creative Industries 'Clean Field'. The competition gathered 132 projects in 11 nominations: from cultural heritage of the region and gastronomy to urban planning and IT. The main conditions for participating projects were:
Our production of artificial waves and the 'Sea is Waving' project were particularly highlighted by the expert jury council for their innovative and creative approach in real economic sectors - industry, sports and tourism, successfully passed all stages of the competition and received the main award - the title of laureate in the 'Architecture and Urbanism' category.

Artificial Wave for ocean-type surfing Vertigo Sports | Vertigo - innovative technology for creating artificial waves for surfing. The first artificial wave in Russia where the athlete does not stand still on the water flow, but moves forward with the wave exactly as in the ocean. Artificial Wave of our production is developed and manufactured in Rostov Oblast. There are 3 invention patents.

This is a key technology for creating a regular training process for athletes. It allows training regardless of weather and the presence of ocean waves.
